Position Overview: We’re looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Retail Associate who lives and breathes action sports. As a Retail Associate, you’ll play a key role in delivering an authentic customer experience, helping guests find the right products, and representing the energy of our facility. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly, authentic, and knowledgeable way Assist customers in selecting gear, apparel, and accessories that best fit their needs and skill levels Share product knowledge and personal experience to build trust and drive sales Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space Process transactions accurately using POS systems Stay up to date on current trends, brands, and innovations in the action sports industry Support inventory management, restocking, and merchandising efforts Contribute to a positive team environment and overall facility vibe Daily Duties: Open and close the retail space following standard procedures Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation Receive, tag, and stock incoming merchandise Replenish sales floor inventory and maintain proper sizing and product organization Ensure fitting rooms and sales areas are clean, organized, and customer-ready at all times Assist with visual merchandising updates, displays, and seasonal product changes Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock items to management Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges in a professional manner Maintain store cleanliness, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and general upkeep Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention practices Qualifications: Passion for action sports and familiarity with related gear and brands Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive mindset Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays What We’re Looking For: Individuals who genuinely enjoy connecting with people and sharing their passion for action sports Team members who bring energy, authenticity, and a strong work ethic People who stay current with trends in gear, style, and culture Perks & Benefits: Access to the facility and employee discounts on gear and apparel Opportunity to be part of a passionate, tight-knit community Hands-on experience with top brands and new products A fun, dynamic work environment centered around action sports You make us Woodward.
