JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our retail bath, flooring, and tile store. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow with the company and interested in long-term career opportunities. The successful candidate will support retail clients, the sales team, order fulfillment, and contribute to marketing initiatives that help drive traffic and brand awareness. While experience in retail sales, marketing, or home improvement is an asset, it is not required—we are looking for someone enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or marketing is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Ability to multitask and support sales, marketing, and administrative functions.
  • Proficiency with Quickbooks Online, Microsoft Office, or social media platforms is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate order and client management.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow into expanded responsibilities over time.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
    Commission is paid for sales in addition to annual salary.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and assisting with product selections in bath, flooring, and tile.
  • Support the sales team by preparing quotes, processing orders, and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Assist with order fulfillment, including coordinating deliveries, tracking shipments, and communicating with suppliers and clients.
  • Maintain showroom by organizing displays, restocking samples, and ensuring the space is clean, inviting, and up to date.
  • Participate in inventory tasks, including receiving shipments and monitoring stock levels.
  • Take on administrative duties such as filing, and responding to client inquiries by phone or email.
  • Support marketing activities such as updating social media, assisting with promotional campaigns and maintaining brand consistency across platforms.
