We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team at Village Ski Hut in Nelson. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting our mission to provide top-notch expertise in the ski industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in retail sales or customer service.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Outgoing and customer-service oriented
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic math calculations.
• Familiarity with POS systems is an asset.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• A passion for skiing and outdoor sports is a must

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Provide expert advice on ski products and services.
• Process sales transactions accurately using Shopify POS system.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor.
• Handle cash and manage financial transactions responsibly.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
• Manage front desk: answer phones, check emails, and schedule services
• Restock and merchandise inventory
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
