MAINTAIN PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

Retail Sales managers know their products better than anyone on the floor. They can’t train their employees on product knowledge without being experts themselves. This includes learning about new products as they arrive.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail sales, preferably in the home improvement or luxury goods sector.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using retail management software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure Showroom is Kept to Company Visual Standards
When selling high-ticket items, aesthetics is vital. Each product on the sales floor must be meticulously arranged to conform with company visual standards. This includes cleaning floor models daily, a task showroom managers delegate to sales associates.
