We are currently seeking experienced Retail Security Officers who can work on a casual capacity in retail and Liquor store environment.
Applicants must be confident in their skills to de-escalate situations using verbal communication and body language and Have experience in taking control of situations and supporting retail workers.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To Be Successful for this role; you will possess the following;

• Current VIC Security License
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Police Check no older than 3 months
• Proven experience in retail security and Customer Service industries.
• Excellent presentation and grooming standards
• A Positive and Proactive Approach
• Passion for delivering professional and efficient customer service
• Evening & weekend availability are essential for part time employees.
• Strong written communication skills, including incident report writing.
• Ability to multi task and work autonomously in high paced team environment.

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting into the onsite Store management, Z Protection Services staff & Client Delivery Manager, the Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers & patrons of the stores. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work as a Casual and previous experience as retail security officer is highly desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be vigilant to possible swarming incidents
• conduct high visibility patrols within the store
• Instant Incident reporting.
• Provide great customer Service.
• Report any form of anti social behavior to Vic Pol.
• Operate the key controller on the entry/exit door.
• Ability to Use Body worn Cameras.
• Reporting incidents immediately after the incident.
