ZAM FM is a premier facilities management company dedicated to providing exceptional security services. We are expanding our team and are looking for vigilant and dedicated Security Officers to ensure the safety and security of our clients’ premises.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Security Officer at ZAM FM, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitoring surveillance equipment and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
- Permitting entry by ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Responding to alarms and investigating disturbances.
- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Providing assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Deterring criminal activity and misconduct, and performing other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer or relevant position.
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
- Familiarity with report writing.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
- Trained in First Aid
