RETAIL SENIOR SOUS CHEF

Location: Canary Wharf, London
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: £20.11ph

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Sous Chef to join our retail team in the heart of Canary Wharf. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality food and excellent service to our customers.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop creative and seasonal menus.
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all food items.
  • Manage and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor stock levels, food costs, and ensure minimal waste.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef, preferably in a retail or high-volume environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for delivering quality food.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage a busy kitchen.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
