ABOUT THE ROLE

The Retail Shop Planner is a key driver of the Luxaflex® Shop’25 transformation.This is an 18 month Fixed Term Contract. The role requires combining strategic retail development with hands-on execution to deliver a unified, premium in-store experience across EMEA.
This role balances retail concept creation, strategic planning, and on the ground rollout leadership to support the vision of rolling out 600–900 showrooms over the next 3 years. Navigating diverse market conditions, including differences in dealer structures, showroom formats, and product assortments, will be critical to the role’s success.
In addition, this role will lead the preparation and execution of Hunter Douglas’ presence at R+T Stuttgart 2027: aligning retail innovation, brand storytelling, and partner engagement with the broader Shop’25 strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development of a scalable, modular store concept aligned with Luxaflex® brand identity and local adaptability.
  • Translate brand strategy and customer insights into physical retail environments that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (such as sales, operations, supply chain, broader marketing team) and external partners on store design, layout, finishes, and visual storytelling.
  • Guide adaptation of the showroom concept to reflect market specific needs (dealer model, size, range).
  • Own the planning, coordination, and delivery of showroom rollouts across EMEA, ensuring premium quality and brand consistency.
  • Oversee production, shipping, and installation of showroom kits, resolving issues in close collaboration with suppliers and local teams.
  • Develop tracking tools, dashboards, and reporting to monitor progress, KPIs, and market feedback.
  • Support cost estimates for retrofits, localization, and future upgrades.
  • Lead the cross-functional project management of Hunter Douglas’ participation at R+T Stuttgart 2027, ensuring the event reflects the Luxaflex® retail vision and maximizes visibility, innovation, and commercial impact.
  • Act as a central liaison between the central teams, sales, dealers/market dynamics, and installation partners to ensure visibility, alignment, and issue resolution.
  • Establish clear governance and share best practices across countries, fostering knowledge transfer and rollout efficiency.
  • Collaborate on customer contact strategy integration (e.g. NPS, CRM, marketing touchpoints) within the physical retail experience.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years in retail project management, store concept development, or shopfitting across multiple international markets.
  • Proven ability to translate brand and customer insights into tangible retail solutions.
  • Strong experience managing vendors, agencies, and local teams in a matrix environment.
  • Deep understanding of production, logistics, and installation workflows.
  • Comfortable managing dashboards, reporting tools, and tracking KPIs.
  • Fluent in English; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
  • Background in premium retail, design, led categories, or home/lifestyle sectors is highly valued.
