The purpose of the Retail Sales Specialist role is to work with our valued customers to build our brand as we grow geographically. Our sales team members work with area retail stores and individual retailers promoting top-quality nutritional products and services for all livestock, poultry, and companion animals. In this role, the successful candidate will be a results-oriented individual who can evaluate the needs of our customers and suggest appropriate products, solutions, and services to fulfill those needs. Primary Responsibilities * Create product line demand using basic knowledge of Kalmbach products across all species * Support and improve the in-store experience of our customers * Conduct market research to determine customer needs, sharing information gathered with appropriate sales team members * Ensure that products are properly stocked, freshness level is up to code, and items are properly displayed * Happy to resolve problems with products and services and knowledge or insight regarding the appropriate time to escalate an issue. * Will travel approximately 75% of the week to ensure the above responsibilities are completed.
