Make a difference as Retail Specialist West Europe In this role, you will strengthen our position in the retail chain and drive category development in vegetables. You will: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in European retail. Collaborate closely with Trade Specialists and Sales to create impact across the value chain. Monitor market developments and translate them into actionable opportunities. Develop and present innovative product concepts for retail and consumers. Organize and support internal and external fairs, events, and communication campaigns. Initiate promotional activities and shopper communication with retail partners. Inspire retailers with insights from our seed business and market knowledge. Work with large vegetable producers to launch joint innovation and growth projects. Your team and workplace You will be part of the West European marketing team and report to the Regional Marketing Manager West Europe. You will work closely with colleagues in sales, trade, and product development, and engage with external stakeholders across Germany, the UK, and other key European markets. Your base will be in Enkhuizen, with regular international travel. What you bring as a future colleague At least 5 years of commercial experience with European retail. A strong network within the retail sector. Proven success in product launches and category development. Deep understanding of shopper and consumer behaviour. A master’s degree in business, economics, or marketing is preferred. Fluent in English and German; Dutch and/or Spanish is a plus. You are a true connector who works independently and proactively. You think analytically, are data-driven, and know how to energize and align teams. You communicate clearly and effectively, both internally and externally.
