Requirements:

• Must be legal drinking age
• Must have Serve it Right Certification from Saskatchewan
• Must have a customer first attitude
• Must be able to work well as a part of a team
• Must be comfortable speaking to groups of 2-20 guests at one time
• 2 years in a retail / customer service facing environment preferred
• 1 year bartending experience is an asset
• 1 year serving experience is an asset
• Willingness to learn and support their team
• Must be available to work during Wednesday- Sunday schedule
• Must be willing to work outdoors

Job Description:

• Be a leader in creating a welcoming environment for guests
• Work as part of a team to meet and exceed goals set by Black Fox
• Share product knowledge for all of our spirits, answering guest questions and providing recommendations based on their taste
• Create and serve cocktails with a high attention to quality
• Serve cocktails, as well as prepared food to our guests
• Recommend and share your favourite cocktails with guests to help them make an informed choice
• Washing, storing and maintaining glassware, bar tools etc
• Work the sales floor by recommending seasonal, limited edition, mainstay and feature spirits
• Be flexible for set up, and provide an exceptional guest experience for corporate events
• Host tours throughout the farm and distillery
• Offer gin and whisky tastings, educating guests on what makes the Black Fox technique unique
• Work together to maintain a visually exceptional experience to guests - from restocking the sales floor, cleaning and maintaining high traffic areas, and ensuring the patio is clean, safe and ready at all times, etc.
• Ensure a quality experience during high traffic times, being able to remain calm and focused

This position reports to the Retail & Customer Experience Manager.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
