JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for retail sales. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a positive shopping experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time will be essential in this role.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with technology sales, product demos, or technical sales is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to enhance their shopping experience.
• Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Upsell products and services by demonstrating knowledge of merchandise and engaging with customers about their needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and surrounding displays through effective merchandising.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction with their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.
• Monitor service gas station and assist customers.
• Stock shelves and clean counter area.
• Clean and dust shelving area as needed.
• Monitor and maintain floor and work area clean for everyones safety.
