Description

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand. This is a full-time permanent position,working a 38 hour, Tuesday - Saturday roster. Immediate start.
As a Store Manager, you will be an integral part of the Retail team and hold a central, significant role within our organisation. You will have the full responsibility of leading our retail team in the Commercial Bay store. Your goal will be to drive business results through continuous development of the store team and lead them to deliver the best customer experience.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years of Store Manager experience, preferably within a high-end retail brand.
  • Strong leadership skills including providing clear directions, coaching, and motivation.
  • Dynamic and high-achieving individual with a track record of exceeding expectations.
  • Experience in training team members in sales and service.
  • Non-prestigious and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Result-oriented, driven by delivering excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in time management, prioritising tasks, and setting deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Good knowledge of software systems, particularly Microsoft Office, Asana, and POS systems.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
  • Passionate about our brand and products.

Responsibilities
  • Lead by example in managing the store and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure the store meets our standards for customer service and brand experience.
  • Be accountable for the sales and KPI performance of the store.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Retail Manager to maximise sales, profit, and achieve key targets.
  • Handle staff responsibilities such as creating a dynamic work environment, enhancing team spirit, motivating and coaching team members, recruitment, labour law compliance, and performance management.
  • Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards according to company guidelines.
  • Conduct administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Oversee stock maintenance.
  • Ensure a safe and healthful work environment, both physically and mentally.
