Overview The Store Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for driving profitability, overseeing operations, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. They manage performance, staffing, training, payroll, and building maintenance while developing strategies to meet sales goals. Through mentorship and team development, they foster strong retail skills and ensure outstanding customer service. Community involvement is integral to our culture at Aviator Nation. Store Managers are responsible for promoting a fun, exciting atmosphere by curating and hosting live music events for our community. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all store staff, ensuring accountability and high performance Set and achieve sales goals through planning and team engagement Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations for employees Oversee hiring, training, and scheduling of staff Manage employee issues and grievances Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues Analyze sales data to develop business strategies and report KPIs Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stock counts Partner with Inventory Manager and Assistant Manager to maintain store presentation Support omni-channel sales and fulfillment processes Ensure daily operations, restocks, and store standards are consistently met Host monthly store events to boost sales and community presence Participate in open houses Attend local business organization meetings Foster relationships with local businesses and neighbors Seek out sponsorship for food and beverage Skills & Requirements People management experience is a must. Must be able to develop, coach, and be transparent with employees while holding the team accountable to rules and conduct in a respectful and professional manner 3-5 years of experience managing in a similar role Positive, outgoing, and encouraging attitude! Professional appearance, must follow AVN presentation standards Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and organizational ability Analytical and computer skills Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Physical Requirements & Working Conditions The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
