Spirit Halloween, the global leader in Halloween retail, is seeking a Store Manager..
This is a temporary yet full management position in a creative and immersive retail environment.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Store Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the store, including achieving sales targets, managing expenses, minimizing shrinkage, and overseeing the store setup, merchandising, and dismantling at the end of the season.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma (minimum)
  • Must be at least 21 years old

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Windows environment
  • Able to operate POS (point-of-sale) systems
Responsibilities
  • Drive sales performance to maximize results
  • Interview, hire, train, motivate, and coach assistant managers and sales associates
  • Ensure excellent customer service aligned with Spirit’s standards
  • Lead merchandising, price changes, stock management, and minimize damaged goods
  • Open and close the store, safeguard company assets (keys, office, bank funds)
  • Track daily performance and delegate team tasks
  • Build staff schedules within budget and manage employee timesheets
  • Train cashiers in handling registers, oversee cash handling, and assist with balancing
  • Perform daily bank deposits
