FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:

Freson Market Ltd/Freson Bros. – Valleyview, Alberta seeks a qualified Retail Store Supervisor
Terms: Permanent, full time employment, Shift Work, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
Wage: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, benefits provided (for full time employees)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: 4714 - 50 Avenue, Valleyview, AB. T0H 3N0
Education: Completion of high school
Experience: 2 – 3 years in sales in a retail store
Work setting: Retail food service

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of department staff and cashiers
  • Establish work schedule and assign department staff to duties
  • Resolve department operations or customer service issues that may arise
  • Prepare reports on department operations based on quality, service, cleanliness, merchandising, and staffing performance
  • Assist in interviewing and selection of department staff
  • May perform the same duties as workers supervised
  • May perform key holding and managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the store, addressing escalated complaints
  • Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
