    Currently we are seeking to hire Supervisor Assistant to join our team in Galway.
    As a Supervisor Assistant you should be ready to be in charge of a store. You will assist the Supervisor/Store Manager in running the store. You will be responsible for orders, cash management, oversee staff performance, provide guidance and support to other employees.
    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall functioning of the store
Responsibilities

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, HERE ARE THE SKILLS WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Minimum 6 months experience in Team Management or Supervisor Assistant role in Retail is required
  • Conversational English Language level is essential
  • Proficiency in one of the Eastern European languages (e.g.: Romanian, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Croatian, etc.)
  • Full flexibility is required, including the availability to work on day shifts: 5 days a week from Monday to Sunday, which may include bank holidays

MAIN DUTIES OF A TEAM LEADER / SUPERVISOR ASSISTANT TYPICALLY INCLUDE:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to junior shop assistants, assisting with their training and development.
  • Assisting the shop supervisor or manager with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, and overseeing staff schedules.
  • Handling escalated customer inquiries or issues, resolving complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Operating the cash register, processing transactions accurately, and handling payments.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the store, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
