Choices for Youth Inc. (“Choices”) is a dynamic, progressive organization that empowers homeless and at-risk youth with innovative options and tools to move from street life to more stable, healthy living situations. CFY is currently seeking a part-time temporary Retail Supervisor to join our Neighbourhood Team.
Neighbourhood is a Choices for Youth social enterprise, and we are currently seeking a part-time temporary supervisor for our retail clothing store at 38 Pearson Street. This position will be for three (3) months, with the possibility of extension. At Neighbourhood we celebrate diversity and offer a fun, safe, inclusive workspace.
Becoming a supervisor at a Choices for Youth Social Enterprise means learning something new every day. We offer a dynamic workspace providing the opportunity to learn rewarding skills supporting the work experience of at-risk youth. The successful applicant should be comfortable working as a team leader and have exceptional communication skills.
This position offers fantastic experience for anyone looking to work in Youth Education, small business and retail, and the growing social enterprise sector.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Strong leadership skills, comfortable making decisions and instructing; positive and upbeat personality
