The opportunity is now available for someone with self motivation and drive to fill the position of Retail Supervisor with us at Hornby PAK’nSAVE! There's always exciting things happening at Hornby, plenty of variety and a team of amazingly dedicated individuals.   We’re pretty lucky with the personalities we have on our Retail team so we’re looking for a pretty unique individual to guide them through the day. A cool head under pressure, a customer focused people person and someone constantly driving their team to excel, and who can identify and utilize the strengths of each individual are our key drivers for the successful applicant. We love Rockstars!    This position requires superior leadership and organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels. You must have had previous Supervisory experience in the FMCG industry. Some SAP / Inventory knowledge would be an advantage but full training will be given in that aspect.    You will be required to either currently hold or understand that the position will require you to hold a First Aid Certificate and Liquor Manager's Licence.   Further skills and attributes required for this position include:   Continuous improvement focus Leadership and relationship skills High level of integrity, reliability, honesty and personal presentation Proven interpersonal skills, experience handling staff welfare issues and on the job mentoring Attention to detail Flexibility and vision in relation to the ever-changing retail environment Drive a people focused culture of business excellence    Reporting to our Merchandising Manager, Retail Co-Manager and Duty Manager, you will be assisting with the day to day operation of the Retail departments in our bustling store.   The days and hours are Friday to Monday 11.30am to 10.00pm for 40 hours per week. 4 days on and 3 days off. These days and hours are not negotiable. Some additional hours. days may be required to cover absences.   Please include your up to date CV.
