We’re seeking a Retail Supervisor to oversee daily retail operations and lead our store team in delivering outstanding guest service. This role is hands-on and customer-focused, combining leadership responsibilities with day-to-day retail operations to ensure an inviting, well-run shopping experience. This position may require flexible scheduling availability Requirements Job Requirements: Supervise daily retail store operations and provide leadership to retail staff Greet customers, answer phones courteously, and ensure all sales transactions are completed accurately Receive payments by cash, check, or credit card and accurately count and provide change Monitor cash handling procedures and report shortages or discrepancies to the Resort Manager Ensure merchandise is neatly displayed, properly stocked, and visually appealing Communicate inventory shortages and assist with merchandise ordering Receive, verify, and stock vendor deliveries; maintain positive vendor relationships Perform and oversee shift opening and closing duties Assist with guest registration, including greeting and registering overnight campers and issuing passes Maintain cleanliness and safety of interior and exterior store areas Inspect store facilities and equipment to ensure proper working order and report any issues to management Job Qualifications: Prior retail or customer service experience; supervisory experience preferred Strong cash-handling skills and attention to detail Basic computer proficiency, including email and internet use Excellent written and verbal communication skills Friendly, approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to guest service Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
