Normal work pattern: 40 hour week. 8.30am-5pm over 5 days, including every 2nd Saturday.
We are looking for a retail supervisor who can effectively assist the manager in the daily operations of the store, with strong leadership skills to lead a small team of employees and volunteers. Also, excellent communication skills to promote excellent customer service and resolve any issues that may arise. Must be able to lift and move heavy objects up and down stairs.

Responsibilities

Oversee, train and retain a small team of motivated staff (both employees and volunteers) to assist in the successful running of the warehouse charity shop, which included sorting/cleaning/recycling incoming donated items
Ensure high standards of customer service
Provide a safe environment that protects all staff and public
Ensure store targets are met
Monitor efficient systems of EPOS, retail gift aid and financial recording in accordance with organisation procedures
Ensure that all financial and security procedures are adhered to
Provide holiday/sickness cover for Store Manager when required
