MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Primary focus on inventory management.
• Keep floor area neat and organized. This includes stock and inventory functions, i.e. labelling and price marking items and merchandising apparel as needed. Organize and fill sales floor to maximize selling.
• Complete stock transfers, RTV’s and cycle counts.
• Monitor floor merchandise.
• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while communicating and coaching professionally with all associates
• Be results-driven in achieving our store key performance indicators through training and development of our associates
• Deliver a great guest experience utilizing our GUEST service model
• Opening/closing the store
• Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

• 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
• Ability to: lift 30lbs. frequently; lift maximum 50lbs. Kneel or squat frequently; move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary); stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally; climb and descend stairs frequently (depending on location)
