Ultimately this is a critical role in supporting the delivering of commercial and customer outcomes as we grow our business. The scope includes both the standard “chief of staff” responsibilities for the Head of Retail, along with a much wider set of opportunities to drive growth across the business. It also provides the opportunity to work with our Global ING stakeholders. Due to internal career movement, we have both Lead and Manager opportunities available for you to join our Retail value creation, Centre of Excellence team. What you’ll do Partner: Partner with Head of Retail Value Creation and Centre of Excellence, and Business Leaders to define and deliver roadmap for ING Australia’s Retail division, ensuring alignment with broader business goals, locally and globally. Execute: Provide CoE Support to key initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring seamless delivery and measurable outcomes. Enable Performance: take accountability for inputs and outputs of business performance management, including the development of dashboards, KPIs, and insights to support data-driven decision-making. What we’re looking for Business / Commercial management, value chain planning or transformation, ideally within a large, matrixed global organisation. Product/Channel cost benefit coordination point between tribes/business/support; Finance and Balance sheet / rolling forecast, income/expenses, Business case support. Expertise in areas such as consulting, retail banking, financial services, with a strong grasp of customer experience, digital innovation, and regulatory environments is preferred Scaling and growth – experience in Operating models, funding/liquidity - retail/wholesale interface interpretation. Market / Vendor / Competitor analysis, propositions, value creation; strategy into commercial outcomes Proven ability to influence stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and lead cross-functional discussion/actions.
