As a Retail Driver, you’ll play a key role in keeping our shops across Harrogate, Hambleton and Richmond thriving. From collecting donated furniture and rotating stock between locations to supporting our House & Home store with collections and sales, you’ll help maximise revenue and ensure our shops are always stocked and ready to welcome customers. No two days are the same – one day you might be loading and unloading furniture with care, the next ensuring waste is disposed of responsibly or supporting the van team with local collections. You’ll carry out basic vehicle checks and maintenance, keep everything running smoothly, and always follow health, safety and safeguarding procedures.
To thrive in this role, you’ll be a reliable and safety-conscious driver with a good level of physical fitness and a hands-on, can-do attitude. Friendly and approachable, you’ll enjoy meeting new people and representing our charity in a professional, positive way. You’ll be confident working as part of a team, flexible in supporting colleagues across different locations, and organised in balancing the varied tasks that come with the role. Above all, you’ll be motivated by the opportunity to use your skills to help generate vital income and make a real difference for local hospice care.
