Position: Retail Whiskey Specialist
We are looking for experienced Whiskey specialists to join our team in our retail store at Teeling Whiskey Distillery.

Responsibilities -

- - Utilize your expertise in whiskey to offer personalized recommendations and guidance to customers, catering to their preferences and helping them discover new and exciting varieties.
- - Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring a friendly and welcoming environment, answering inquiries, and addressing customer needs promptly and courteously.
- - Stay up-to-date with the latest whiskey trends, distilleries, and production methods in order to provide the most accurate and relevant information to customers.
- - Maintain an organized and visually appealing inventory display, ensuring all whiskey products are properly labelled, well stocked, and attractively presented.
- - Actively contribute to the growth and success of the store through suggestive selling, initiating product promotions, and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience

Requirements -

- - Demonstrable passion for whiskey, with in-depth knowledge of different whiskey varieties, production techniques, and regional differences.
- - Strong understanding of the retail industry with a strong sales focus and previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.
- - Exceptional customer service skills, actively listening to customers’ needs and offering tailored recommendations accordingly.
- - Willingness to continuously learn and expand knowledge about whiskey, attending training sessions, and staying informed about industry developments.
- - Ability to work collaboratively with a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
- - Attention to detail, ensuring accurate inventory management and maintaining a visually appealing store display.
- - Must be of legal drinking age

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €14.50 per hour
