We have an opportunity for a Retirement Housing Officer to join our specialist housing team based at Harling Court, Ledbury, with occasional travel to nearby schemes and Platform Housing offices when required.
This is a part-time role, working 25 hours per week on a shift rota basis. You will need to be flexible to work shift patterns between 8am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday. There will also be the requirement for sleep-ins up to twice a week, for which you will receive £55 per sleep-in.
WHAT COULD YOU BE DOING?
As a Retirement Housing Officer, you will be providing a housing and tenancy management service to maximise tenancy sustainment. You’ll be a regular and flexible customer contact for the residents, providing practical and preventative support and advice. As well as this, you will signpost to specialist care and support services to maximise wellbeing, social interaction and minimise isolation.
You will provide effective building management, including property inspections, risk assessments, H&S monitoring and compliance checks. Responding, investigating and taking timely action to reported breaches of tenancy and leasehold agreements will be a key part of the role.

Platform is a great place to work, we offer lots of opportunities for you to get involved, share ideas and shape what we do - from networking groups through to fun community and social events. This is an exciting time to join us, that will provide you with real exposure to the wider dynamics of a truly modern housing association that will play a major part in delivering our 5-year corporate strategy.
