Description
The Retirement Implementation Specialist role will be an integral part of a global team that will ensure that our systems accurately reflect client pension plan design features and comply with current US legislation.  The Role   * Be part of a pioneer group in Manila that will establish and grow knowledge around the pension plan designs, as well as the client and Government-specific rules and requirements that govern them. * Have the opportunity to work within a line of business that provides pension, and health and welfare administration outsourcing solutions for nearly eight million benefit plan participants globally, including more than five million in North America. * Work on the Manila night shift to work real-time with the rest of our US onshore colleagues. * Have immediate focus on: * Understanding how pension calculations work and the business rules that drive them. * Test plan execution. * Raising bugs / issues found based on testing to your Lead RIS. * Release testing. * Running calculation regression and updating its list of test cases as needed. * Execution of monthly processing items (Cash Balance Rollups, Monthly Interest Rates). * Configuration of new clients’ pension plan XML. * Eventually grow into: o Fully understanding the client pension plans and system rules. o Fulfill responsibilities of a Primary RIS. o Being a component lead for implementation projects.
