Job Summary: The Retro Crew Lead is responsible for the installation and modification of electrical systems in new construction homes after the rough-in stage. This includes installing or replacing customer-requested wiring changes, as well as adding or removing power, switches, lighting, and other electrical components. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Aiding in installation of rough wiring or trim work for builder changes etc throughout the process of new home construction * Ensuring all work is done in a neat and workmanlike manner and done to our customers specifications. * Maintaining safe work environment for the crew. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: * Accuracy with measurements * Ability to scale prints and properly read prints * Ability to multitask * Electrical knowledge to rewire existing work to current code and needs. * Residential electrical knowledge and skillset * Properly filling out work orders * Reporting findings to supervisor or management. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * High school diploma or GED preferred. * Must have basic electrical knowledge. * Must have basic construction safety knowledge. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times. * * Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders and digging * Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. * Must be able to work in confined spaces and attic work. * Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time. * Must be able to work outside in all types of weather, including high temperature and under the sun. * Must have clean driving record.
