ARPG Eco delivers whole-house retrofit, renewables and M&E projects across the Northwest and Wales under PAS 2035/2030 (ECO4/GBIS, LA programmes). We’re expanding and hiring a Retrofit Coordinator to own end-to-end coordination—from survey and modelling through design sign-off, installation oversight and handover.

TRAINING IS PROVIDED AND ONGOING CPD IS FUNDED; HOWEVER, STRONG BUILDING KNOWLEDGE IS ESSENTIAL.

Responsibilities

  • Lead/validate site surveys; set risk pathway (A/B/C) and produce MTIP.
  • Complete room-by-room heat-loss and U-value calculations; check moisture/condensation risk.
  • Run retrofit modelling (RdSAP/SAP), compare measure packages and value-for-money.
  • Produce solar PV designs (array layout, stringing, module/inverter choice, yield, DNO G98/G99 inputs).
  • Produce ASHP designs (sizing from heat loss, flow temperatures, emitter checks, cylinder, siting/noise).
  • Assess and specify ventilation upgrades to Part F; coordinate compliance to Part L and PAS.
  • Compile Retrofit Plans, Installation Plans and Handover packs; TrustMark lodgements.
  • Coordinate designers/assessors/installers; complete interim/post-install QA and reporting.

Requirements (essential)

  • Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination & Risk Management (or near-completion).
  • Solid building knowledge (construction methods, building physics, fabric/MEP interfaces).
  • Proven experience with heat-loss calcs, retrofit modelling, solar PV and ASHP design.
  • Working knowledge of PAS 2035, Part L/F, moisture risk principles (BS 5250), TrustMark.
  • Competent with Elmhurst/Stroma, Heat Engineer/MCS tools, EasyPV/OpenSolar/PV*SOL (or similar).
  • Full UK driving licence; ability to travel regionally; right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

  • Basic CAD/schematics; DNO application experience; social-housing schemes.
