REQUIREMENTS

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths & English.
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3–4 in Construction, Building Services, or Site Supervision (preferred).
  • Certifications such as PAS 2035, Retrofit Assessor, DEA, or SSSTS desirable.
  • 4–5 years’ experience in construction, maintenance, or retrofit projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of EEMs, construction detailing, and Building Regulations (Parts L, F, C, O).
  • Familiarity with PAS 2035 frameworks (ECO4, SHDF, HUG).
  • Strong IT skills, including inspection software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Retrofit Site Supervisor oversees the safe and effective delivery of retrofit projects. Acting as the key point of contact on-site, you will ensure all Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) are installed to meet PAS 2035, building regulations, and quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, site supervision skills, and the ability to maintain compliance across multiple projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct pre- and post-installation site inspections of retrofit works.
  • Ensure compliance with PAS 2035, Building Regulations, and industry best practice.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and performance of installed measures (e.g., insulation, heating, ventilation).
  • Maintain detailed photographic and written compliance records.
  • Identify and address defects or non-conformances with site teams.
  • Update internal systems with accurate site information.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines, safety, and quality standards are met.
  • Attend project meetings and provide insights on feasibility, risks, and planning.
