Description Job Profile: The Return Authorizations Associate is responsible for requesting return authorizations from manufacturers and other return processors. This person will work closely with the Authorizations Lead and other members of the operations team to answer questions and resolve problems related to return authorizations to maximize customer credit. The Return Authorization Associate will pay strict attention to detail, accuracy, consistency in process, and a high level of persistence. Duties/Responsibilities: Submit requests for return authorizations to assigned manufacturers and processors. Depending on the manufacturer, Return Authorizations may be obtained via internet online request or email request. Follow up on requests where no authorization has been granted within specified timeframe. Record authorizations information for tracking purposes on the company software system (Prophet). Save Return Authorizations on the company shared drive. Create and print pick list for products to be shipped back to manufacturer or returns processor. Forward recall information to appropriate personnel. Create Proof of Destruction (POD) list for use in the warehouse. Complete other duties as assigned. Requirements Excellent written and oral communication skills Must be proficient in computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft programs including; Word, Excel and Outlook Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented Must be punctual and reliable
