SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a Registered Nurse with relevant occupational health qualifications, a current unrestricted AHPRA practicing certificate, and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

Other skills and experience include;

  • Effective working knowledge injury management and return to work processes/strategies
  • Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation Insurance Legislation
  • Spirometry training Thoracic Society of Aus/New Zealand (TSANZ)
  • Workplace screening Audiometry & Hearing Conservation certificate
  • Ability to work autonomously to align with our medical guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Strong recent knowledge and experience in performing health surveillance and health assessments, including operating medical equipment
  • Experience in drug and alcohol testing/management (desirable)
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

We’re looking for a passionate Return to Work Coordinator / Occupational Health Nurse to join our Safety & Sustainability Wellbeing team. This part-time role (30.4 hours/week), based in Padstow, offers flexibility across 4–5 days and involves occasional travel to various NSW business locations.
You’ll support the health and wellbeing of employees across sales, manufacturing, logistics, retail, and office teams. Working closely with HR and Safety, both onsite and remotely, you’ll deliver meaningful care and contribute to a safe, supportive workplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role offers a combination of autonomy and support; you will join our close-knit team of nurses across Australia. You will manage the health and wellbeing of our employees by demonstrating care and ensuring all are managed in accordance with DuluxGroup values and behaviours and the relevant legislative requirements.

  • Managing and co-ordinating support in the rehabilitation of injured employees
  • Developing plans to support workers’ gradual return to full roles and health
  • Running the site Occupational Health Centre, including coordinating calibration of medical equipment
  • Pre-employment Medicals: Assessing and providing pre-employment medical outcomes
  • Coordinating and conducting health surveillance
