Job Details Job Location: PJK Wards Holdings LLC - Raleigh, NC 27603 Job Purpose/Objective The Returns Desk Associate is responsible for efficiently checking in returned products from the Delivery Truck Drivers and accurately entering the customer credits and RMAs into the Keany Produce Company inventory management system. Essential Job Functions: Enter credits, receive RMAs, and document other returns accurately using Produce Pro Keep area clean and within OSHA regulations. Discard of any unsellable product Restock product Accurate documentation Communicate unusual returns to Manager Communicate unusual quality returns to quality control Organize pallets Work Conditions / Job Environment Degree of physical demands (strength) usually associated with this position: Frequent reviews of delivery manifests and input of data into computerized inventory management system Minimum lift requirement 50-60 lbs on a regular basis Requires repeated stooping and bending Frequent lifting and carrying of boxed/bagged fruits and vegetables Requires continuous standing for extended periods of time Sitting 5%, standing 95% Frequently requires riding a motorized, stand-on pallet jack Environmental conditions (physical surroundings and hazards) usually associated with this position: Working in a 45-degree (F) processing area for 8-10 hours on a daily basis Working in a damp environment 8-10 hours on a daily basis Moderately noisy environment Qualifications Education: High School Diploma Experience: 6 months experience in warehouse shipping / receiving environment Knowledge: Basic understanding of warehouse processes, product flow Basic computer knowledge Skills and Abilities: (e.g. Ability to manipulate data, perform calculations, and compile information into reports) Operate walker/rider electric jacks Organized, strong initiative, creative problem solving Ability to work with a diverse work force Very strong verbal and written communication skill Advanced organization skills, strong initiative, creative, advanced problem-solving skills Ability to communicate in English and Spanish both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
The Returns Desk Associate is responsible for checking in returned products and entering customer credits and RMAs into the inventory management system. They must also maintain a clean work area and communicate any unusual returns to the manager and quality control.
