FANgineers play a vital role in the success of the hospitality program and game days. FANgineers serve as goodwill ambassadors to ticket holders and their guests while maintaining the operational policies in place for all premium seating areas. FANgineers also serve as a liaison between donors, caterers, maintenance staff, custodial staff, Hospitality Directors, and Athletic Department personnel. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following: Act as game day ambassadors for the Hospitality Office and athletics department. Perform G.O.L.D. Standard Service for all guests, fans, and department staff. Ensure all game day policies and procedures are being upheld. Monitor entrances, review tickets, and be aware of access control protocols. Perform pre-, during-, and post-game duties associated with the premium areas (i.e., fulfilling requests, disposing trash, monitoring facility needs and food & beverage needs, etc.) Other duties as assigned. AVAILABILITY and OPPORTUNITIES Must be available to work all home football games at Bobby Dodd Stadium. FANgineers are hourly employees. Hours will range between 6-14 hours per game week depending on the home game schedule and game preparation needs each week. FANgineers are expected to work the entire football game day shift, which typically begins 1 hour and 30 minutes before stadium gates open and ends approximately 90 minutes post-game. Opportunities may be available to work the day before game days for additional hours. Along with football home games, gain the opportunity (with a positive supervisor evaluation) to work additional events, such as basketball, baseball, concerts, etc. 2026 HOME FOOTBALL SCHEDULE: Thursday, Sept 3 Colorado Saturday, Sept 12 Tennessee Saturday, Sept 19 Mercer Saturday, Oct 10 Duke Saturday, Oct 24 Boston College Saturday, Nov 7 Louisville Saturday, Nov 21 Wake Forest Requirements REQUIREMENTS Ability to work all home football games (includes some nights and weekends) Trustworthy; a person of integrity Service mindset. Friendly demeanor and positive attitude Strong communication skills Dependable Enthusiastic to be a part of a team that makes guests feel seen, welcomed, and valued. Willing to learn and be flexible to fill in where needed. Ability to communicate clearly & effectively with guests and game day partners. Ability and willingness to stand or sit for long periods of time. Reliable transportation Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds (e.g. event materials, signage) Ability to bend, stoop, and reach Manual dexterity to handle event materials and technology Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor spaces Good visual acuity and attention to detail Ability to travel to event sites, as needed Work Environment Fast-paced conditions during live events Frequent interaction with fans, vendors, and large groups Long periods of standing and constant movement around the event venue are expected on event days.
