ABOUT US

Since 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a De Havilland Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737 200, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
  • Knowledge of accounting is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced skills with the Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems (D365 is a bonus).
  • Ability to seamlessly adapt to various airline software (PSS, Charter system, Cargo System, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of database management and querying (e.g., SQL).
  • Fluently bilingual in French and English (spoken and written); knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! As a Revenue Accounting Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue reporting. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate and analyze assigned reports to provide valuable insights.
  • Perform account reconciliation and general ledger analysis to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Monitor processing delays and conduct compliance testing to uphold standards.
  • Assist with budgets, month-ends, year-ends, and annual audits to support financial planning and reporting.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of revenue procedures, controls, documentation, master data, and contracts.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support the department’s operational goals.
