What You’ll Do
Responsible for supporting the global revenue team to help ensure revenue contracts are recognized in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Role requires knowledge of basic accounting principles, pricing policies, legal terminology and documents, deal desk policies, order management process as well as cloud service provider relationships.
Review, analyze and record revenue transactions under 1M to ensure compliance with corporate policy
Schedule revenue transactions over 1M according to documentation provided by regional revenue managers
Work with Internal Audit to provide requested documents to support audit of deals under $1M.
Ensure documents are in compliance with established policies
Assist locations in completing their revenue recognition documentation and remedying any gaps found in the documentation
Update and administer internal tracking tools for review of revenue recognition transactions
Work with the entire Revenue team to develop, publish, and operationalize the Teradata Global Revenue Policy integrated with Business Operational Processes with Revenue Accounting Guidance.

You will report to the Team Lead of Revenue Recognition. You will work cross-functionally and at various levels across the organization.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance Preferred
Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts, both written and verbal
Ability to work across the Company at all levels
Minimum 2 to 4 years of related experience
What You’ll Bring
Strong English Communication Skills
Accounting and Revenue Recognition experience preferred
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Oracle ERP/Salesforce
