Role Purpose We are seeking a talented and motivated Revenue Accounting & Assurance Analyst to join our Finance Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Pune. This is a key role within the Group Finance function, responsible for delivering high-quality revenue accounting, reporting, and assurance activities across the business. The role will ensure revenue is recognised in accordance with IFRS 15, prepare audit documentation, and help maintain the accuracy and integrity of the Group’s financial reporting. Key responsibilities Revenue Accounting Prepare accounting and reporting of revenue streams in accordance with IFRS 15, ensuring accurate recognition and consistent application of Group policies. Deferred revenue and accrued income reconciliations to ensure accuracy of balance sheet. Prepare accounting entries to ensure accurate monthly accounting revenue recognition Support the Revenue Assurance Manager with monthly revenue accounting close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of revenue and related balances. Revenue Assurance and Controls Involvement with activities to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue reporting across systems and entities. Perform reconciliations between billing, operational, and financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies. Strengthen and document control processes, supporting continuous improvement in data integrity and automation. Contribute to revenue assurance frameworks designed to safeguard revenue and prevent revenue leakage. Collaborate with colleagues across Group Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams in multiple geographies. Audit and Compliance Assist with preparing high-quality audit files and supporting documentation for external audits. Co-ordinate with Group and legal entity external auditors to ensure timely resolution of queries. Maintain compliance with Group accounting policies and controls. Support the development of standardised processes and documentation to improve efficiency and consistency across the function. Individual Profile Essential: Experience in revenue accounting, technical accounting, or financial reporting roles. Decent technical understanding of IFRS 15 and experience applying it in multi-element or contract-based environments. Excellent Excel and ERP system skills (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience working in a shared service or Centre of Excellence environment, ideally in an Order to Cash or Revenue Assurance team. Desirable: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification. Experience in telecoms, technology, or infrastructure sectors. Prior exposure to revenue assurance or process improvement projects. Personal Attributes Technically strong, with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Strong sense of ownership and accountability for quality and accuracy. Good communicator, able to explain accounting matters clearly to other Finance stakeholders. Can help foster a culture of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning within the Centre of Excellence.
