Description
What You’ll Be Doing: * Managing month-end revenue close activities, including reviewing non-routine transactions and making adjustments as required. * Preparing journal entries, reconciliations of Deferred Revenue and Unbilled Revenue and related documentation for revenue accounts both manual reconciliations of Legacy systems and Netsuite driven revenue. * Perform Inter Company Revenue share calculations monthly and pass necessary adjustments. * Supporting ad hoc revenue and billing analyses to inform business decisions. * Work in a multi-subsidiary work environment and perform accounting actions under various subsidiaries. * Assist the Revenue Manager in data migration and NetSuite implementation aspects. * Interpreting contractual terms and ensuring appropriate application of revenue recognition policies. * Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for revenue-related accounts in accordance with GAAP. * Identifying actionable insights to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies. * Collaborating cross-functionally with FP&A & Order Management teams to drive process improvements, best practices, and automation initiatives. What You’ll Need: * Recent experience as a Revenue Accountant in a software organization. * CA/Semi qualified CA or a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of corporate finance experience, including 1–2 years in revenue accounting for software or cloud-based offerings. * At least 1+ years Netsuite experience specifically in Suite Billing, Advanced Revenue Management (ARM). * Good to have understanding and working knowledge of Commission calculations under ASC 340. * Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams. * Adept in ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers.   Who You Are: * Detail-oriented and analytical, with strong problem-solving abilities. * Collaborative team player, able to build relationships across departments. * Adaptable and proactive, comfortable with shifting priorities and deadlines. * Effective communicator, able to present financial information clearly.
