Find out more about life at Alter Domus at careers.alterdomus.com KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Revenue Accounting & Compliance Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports for assigned entities/regions in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP Support revenue recognition analysis under supervision, learning and applying relevant accounting standards Review and validate revenue transactions, ensuring proper documentation and controls Financial Reporting & Analysis Support the preparation of revenue-related sections of financial statements and disclosures Assist in analyzing revenue trends and variances under guidance Support month-end and year-end close processes related to revenue Stakeholder Collaboration Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand revenue streams and address basic revenue-related inquiries Liaise with regional finance teams to maintain consistency in revenue recognition practices Work with the billing and collections teams to identify and resolve revenue discrepancies Audit Support & Documentation Prepare audit documentation and schedules for internal and external auditors Assist in responding to audit queries related to revenue transactions Maintain comprehensive working papers to support revenue accounting positions Process Improvement & Development Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in revenue accounting processes Support the implementation of best practices within the revenue accounting function Assist in system enhancements and participate in finance transformation projects Team Collaboration Support team members during peak periods and provide backup coverage as needed Learn from senior colleagues and contribute to a culture of continuous learning within the team Uphold high standards of compliance, ethics, and risk control PROFILE Essential Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification Minimum of 3 years experience in audit, accounting, and/or financial reporting, ideally gained within Big4 firms, KPO organizations, and/or multinational corporations Basic understanding of Ind AS, IFRS and/or US GAAP; willingness to learn revenue recognition standards (Ind AS 115 / IFRS 15 / ASC 606) Good technical accounting skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas) Familiarity with financial systems; exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) is a plus Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn Desirable Qualifications: CA Inter / ACCA / CMA qualification in progress is advantageous Exposure to the financial services or alternative investments industry Prior involvement in process improvements or system implementations Knowledge of Indian taxation and compliance requirements Key Competencies: Good communication skills – able to collaborate effectively with finance teams and business stakeholders Adaptability – able to learn quickly in a fast-growing and dynamic international environment Organizational skills – able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Team player – collaborative approach with a willingness to support colleagues Intellectual curiosity – proactive in seeking to understand the business and improve processes Integrity – demonstrates high ethical standards and commitment to accuracy LEADERSHIP & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES You will demonstrate personal resilience and remain calm under pressure while working in an international company in high-growth mode You will be able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including business partners and finance professionals across the organization You will have a growth mindset and eagerness to develop your technical and professional skills You will be detail-oriented while also understanding the broader business context You will demonstrate a strong commitment to high integrity and ethics WHAT WE OFFER We are committed to supporting your development, advancing your career, and providing benefits that matter to you.
