Job Summary Under the direction of the Director of Revenue Management, the Revenue Analyst will play a central role in maximizing Hotel X Toronto’s revenue and profitability. The Revenue Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data, monitoring market trends and assist DORM in providing strategic revenue decisions. The ideal candidate possesses a keen analytical mind, business acumen, and the ability to communicate insights clearly.  Role and Responsibilities * Responsible for the analyzing revenue, profit, and demand associated with the participating hotels’ rooms and function space inventory. * Assists in preparing forecasts, including budgets and projections and evaluate sales strategy effectiveness. * Develops and leverages analytical tools and systems to maximize overall hotel revenue and profit. * Manage rooms and function space inventory, ensuring the proper allocation and restrictions to optimize total hotel revenues and profits. * Conduct competitive set analysis and monitor market trends and dynamics. * Inform the DORM of any obvious market trends. * Generates and deliver accurate and timely results through reports, presentations, and other relevant formats. * Collaborate and build strong relationships with Reservations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance. Qualifications * Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field preferred. * Experience in Revenue Management, financial analysis, and pricing. * Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills. * Strong analytical and problem solving skills. * Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. * Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail. * Must be flexible with work shifts and confident in working with a diverse range of personalities in a dynamic environment.  Hotel X Toronto is committed to accommodating people with disabilities as part of our hiring process.
