We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and high performing individual to join our friendly and committed Revenues and Benefits service. We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and confident individual to join a small team in providing vital system support as a single point of contact for users.
We are looking for a candidate with strong knowledge of the Capita One Revenues and Benefits system, Academy, to ensure the effective management, control, and administration of our Revenues and Benefits systems. A solid understanding of revenues and benefits administration and associated working practices is essential.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure to a high degree of accuracy. You will need to be proactive, confident and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Ensuring the effective management, control and administration of the Council’s Computerised Revenues and Benefits systems. Making sure that the systems remain operational, and any down time is minimal.
  • Scheduling of batch routines including document production, payments, benefit/cash postings, refunds, integrity checks and system reconciliations
  • Initiation of Direct Debit routines including reconciliation with Accountancy
  • Undertake year end processing including inputting of parameters, running of main billing, liaising with the Councils print and mailing supplier and other relevant tasks
  • Setting up New Users on the system, general maintenance of users, password control and the maintenance of permissions
