Actively builds and maintains strong customer relationships to ensure superior customer service. Ensures timely, accurate, and complete processing of monthly financial statements and departmental reports; assists with preparing month-end journal entries. Participates in daily and monthly reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assists in developing and monitoring controls and procedures to ensure such compliance. Performs monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and prepares journal entries to post correcting adjustments to the General Ledger. Performs special projects/audits to provide high level of expertise on matters of complex or sensitive nature (slot configuration changes, soft count variances). Prepares documentation and assists internal, external, and regulatory auditors in their examination ofaccounting records to ensure that auditors receive adequate information and interpretation of records. Responsible for responding to patron requests for W-2G and 1099 information. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees as well as outside contacts. Ability to research, analyze and comprehend all necessary documentation Detail oriented with strong analytical skills. Ability to use Excel Ability to use personal computer and 10-key. BRING US YOUR BEST. Knowledge of general accounting procedures and related statutory requirements. Knowledge of computer applications (ACSC, LMS, lnfinium, Micros) helpful. Knowledge of state gaming regulations is helpful. These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
