JOB SUMMARY:

The Revenue Audit Supervisor will assist in training for all revenue auditors. Review of all daily works, ensuring accuracy of calculations and postings for all related business transactions. Examine and analyze computerized and manual reports to ensure reasonableness and correctness with regards to daily gaming/food/beverage/retail/recreation/hotel audits. Assist the revenue auditors in the dispute and resolution processes as well as outward assistance to the management team. The Revenue Audit Supervisor will assist the manager as assigned during scheduled days off, PTO or in any other times of need.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills needed
  • Flexibility of shift and hours is necessary
  • Must be able to manage processes
  • Must understand information system structure, and stay abreast of new technology
  • Sit, walk, stand, (as required), push/pull, bend (at neck & waist), squat, kneel, and reach above/below shoulder level as required.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods, be able to get up and down consistently throughout the workday
  • Simple grasping, fine hand manipulation and repetitive use of the hands is required to complete essential functions.

  • Abide by all State and corporate regulations pertaining to the presence of minors in gaming areas.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze gaming and non-gaming information.
  • Verify validity of figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
  • Provide direction to ensure daily audits are conducted according to MICS and SOPs.
  • Performs ongoing training and cross training of audit team members
  • Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.
  • Operate computers, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce required reports.
  • Receive, record, and audit all food/beverage/retail/recreation and hotel cash turn in slips and reconcile to supporting reports.
  • Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports, and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, variances, and profits and losses.
  • Review all variance logs- Slot drop, cage, front desk and all non-gaming for accuracy
  • Review exceptions issued for accuracy and validity
  • Balance Cash, Credit Cards, Room Charges, and Comps on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Balance all audit and upload documents for accuracy
  • Audit guest comp/point/rewards postings on a daily basis.
  • Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Closely work with all team members and the management team, communicating areas of noncompliance and any other issues that may arise.
  • Communicate any suspicious activity noted during audits and communicate such to proper management.
  • Performs other various duties as required and/or assigned.
