The Company operates in a variety of markets including multifamily housing, single-family housing, student housing, military housing, and commercial properties.
About the role: Conservice is seeking a Revenue Controller who will report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer and be responsible for the accounting and reporting for the company’s revenue processes and revenue-related financial statement line items (e.g. revenue, deferred revenue, order-to-cash, receivables and allowances). This individual will lead and coach two individuals while partnering with key internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement to revenue accounting and reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience
  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • NetSuite experience preferred
  • Familiarity with US GAAP revenue recognition rules (ASC 606) and best practices
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience improving monthly close process, balance sheet account reconciliations, variance analysis and controls over financial reporting
  • Excellent communication - will be communicating with internal and external customers, vendors, direct reports, other Conservice teams, tax/regulatory agencies, auditors
    This is a full-time position at our corporate headquarters in Logan, UT. Remote/hybrid work arrangements will be considered depending on the candidate
Responsibilities
  • Ensure accuracy of revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP (ASC 606).
  • Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.
  • Oversee monthly close tasks related to revenue and drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform analytics and implement controls to identify areas of risk related to revenue.
  • Audit and monitor commission calculations in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Coordinate, partner with and support cross-company functions.
  • Supervise, coordinate and inspire staff.
  • Serve as the accounting point of contact for all revenue questions.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
