The Revenue Cycle Data Analyst utilizes various reporting platforms to generate reports. They review and clean up data, analyze datasets, and schedule automated reports, running them manually when necessary.

Essential Functions

  • Support system and data integrity, data validation, as well as the development of operational, financial, and clinical quality data.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis and modeling, manage complex data sets, identify quality data trends, and maintain the in-house SQL database.
  • Participate in data quality investigations and clean-up efforts, understand population health analytics, and metrics for clinical-based and claims-based data systems.
  • Create automated reports using the Employee Health Records (EHR) reporting platform and population health tools.
  • Generate reports for quality improvement initiatives by optimizing in-application SQL statements and resolving data issues in real time.
  • Ensure data completeness and accuracy, while identifying data gaps for improvement.
  • Maintain data reliability, eliminate data redundancy, and streamline reporting procedures.
  • Participate in data collection and entry processes to ensure accuracy and conduct quality investigations on data elements to enhance data completeness.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:·

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
  • Experience in Data analysis skills or population health platforms.
  • Experienced in Revenue Cycle, Healthcare Revenue management, medical billing and coding, or Patient financial services informatics
