We are disrupting the industry with our game-changing product and culturally driven creative and are looking for a Revenue & Financial Reporting Accountant to join us in building the next generation of intimates.
This position will report to the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst and will perform and oversee the analysis, preparation, and reporting of revenue reconciliations and financial data.

EDUCATIONAL OR SIMILAR:

  • Bachelor’s degree, such as in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • Related work experience in accounting is preferred.
  • Public accounting audit experience with a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel proficiency using pivot tables, V-lookups, etc.; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. You will be required to communicate with key internal and external stakeholders, such as management, auditors, vendors, and external legal.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-directed, and able to work collaboratively with the accounting department and others.
  • Must be detail oriented while being able to think big picture. Must have a passion for accuracy and a desire to understand the “why.”
  • Workiva’s Wdesk, NetSuite, and/or Looker proficiency a plus.
  • Organized and driven to successfully handle, plan, and schedule tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Deadline driven, with ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to meet tight/competing reporting deadlines.
  • Flexibility in hours as required for deliverable deadlines.
  • Ability to solve problems and use strong analytical skills.
  • Flexible, “special-projects” orientation coupled with solid multi-tasking abilities.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare month-end revenue reconciliations for areas such as eCommerce, concession, retail, and collaborations and identify/investigate any discrepancies.
  • Prepare various other month-end account reconciliations.
  • Post and review journal entries.
  • Analyze general ledger activity to identify possible adjustments and document primary reasons for fluctuations.
  • Improve month-end close processes by maintaining clear documentation and identifying and introducing efficiencies.
  • Support annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reports, analyses, and projects for accounting team, management, investors, and others as needed.
  • Process and track related party transactions.
  • Involved in accounting aspects of internal financial reporting, such as preparation of monthly financial statements for investor compliance and management reporting, and compilation of key performance indicator (KPI) data from various departments for monthly management reports.
  • May assist in preparing financial statements, disclosures, and MD&A in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and SEC requirements; prepares and maintains supporting work paper documentation for external auditor review.
  • May assist in interpreting US GAAP accounting standards and SEC guidance to determine the appropriate accounting and financial reporting treatment. Assists with technical accounting research to ensure proper application of US GAAP to non-recurring, complex, or new transactions.
