General Description The Professional Revenue Cycle Revenue Integrity Liaison is an experienced subject matter expert who leads complex revenue integrity initiatives, serves as an internal consultant, and drives enterprise-wide performance improvement efforts by analyzing professional billing workflows, monitoring performance metrics, and assisting departments and providers with standard revenue cycle education and issue resolution. Essential Job Duties Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Support departments, clinics and providers with education on professional billing, charging, coding, registration, referral, and authorization workflows. Independently identify and analyze charging, coding, documentation, and billing trends impacting professional revenue. Provide targeted education and recommendations to providers and departments to improve revenue cycle performance. Develop and present performance metrics and trend analyses to operational leaders by running and reviewing standard reports and dashboards to identify opportunities for improvement. Support the development and delivery of revenue cycle education and training programs. Expert knowledge of professional revenue cycle and revenue integrity workflows. Strong consulting, presentation, and influence skills. Ability to translate data into actionable operational strategies.
