Responsibilities

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Revenue Operations (ROPS) Lead drives the DaVita Intake team responsible for insurance verifications, ensuring adherence to the standard health insurance verification process for patient placement. This position supports a team of specialists to deliver quick, accurate verifications in alignment with DaVita policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. The ROPS Lead provides guidance to Revenue Specialist teammates on daily workflow, team questions, supports the supervisor with onboarding and training needs, performs data trending analysis as needed, conducts quality assurance reviews, and monitors key performance metrics to drive operational excellence.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal direct reports; provides day-to-day support and guidance to teammates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the insurance verification team through processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Provide teammates with real-time support, guidance on complex issues, and policy expertise.
  • Assist with team audits, data collection, and reporting to monitor quality, accuracy, and team outcomes.
  • Partner with supervisors on projects, assignments, and action plans to drive improvements.
  • Supports productivity check-ins, helps to track performance metrics, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and other assigned duties.
