Responsibilities
  • Competitive Intelligence & Market Monitoring: Track competitor activity including pricing strategies, product launches, promotional tactics, and market entries to identify threats, opportunities, and shifts in positioning.
  • Pricing & Sensitivity Analysis: Analyze pricing curves, positioning, and price spreads across markets to detect competitor behavior and assess customer price sensitivity between comparable offerings.
  • Market Share & Demand Indicators: Monitor market share trends and forward-looking demand signals (e.g., macroeconomic shifts, travel news, industry developments) to anticipate changes in performance and customer behavior.
  • Insight Development & Reporting: Investigate new data sources and translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams. This includes a strong understanding of relational databases, table structures, and the ability to dissect large datasets to identify relevant metrics and trends. Own the integrity of our insights by identifying unusual data patterns, validating whether they reflect real market behavior or data issues, and applying both automated and manual QA techniques.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Revenue Management, Sales, Fleet, Operations, and Marketing to integrate insights into pricing, planning, and strategic initiatives.
