Job Description Manly Pacific is currently seeking a Revenue Manager to join our team on a six months fixed term contract. A day in the life of a Revenue Manager consists of, but not limited to: Maximise revenue to achieve budgeted and forecasted revenue targets. Focus on trend recognition, demand anticipation and opportunity analysis. Develop and implement systems, practices and tools aimed at these revenues through balancing demand and revenue maximization techniques. Management of Rates and Inventory with consultation with the Director of Sales & Marketing. Ensure optimal presentation and maximization of business opportunities through brand websites, 3rd party websites, CRO and GDS. Assist in development of the annual sales & distribution plan and financial budget. Experience with revenue management systems such as Easy RMS and manual tools, manual forecasting and market segmentation documents. Ability to use analytical skills and to use the results of analysis to make recommendations regarding effective strategic decisions. Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/clients required. Competitor intelligence: ongoing research and analysis of product, price, occupancy, RGI and report actual versus performance from an agreed competitive set using all available tools such as travel click reports, internet, ring rounds and competitor shop calls. Ability to take a leading role in the management of computer systems in operation within the hotel including Opera, TARS, Accor websites.
